Writer / Director

Derek Kimball is an award-winning Maine-based filmmaker and 2017 Sundance FilmTwo Fellow.  After nearly a decade teaching directing, post-production, and cinematography for various post-secondary institutions including Emerson and Boston Colleges, he returned home to direct his feature debut, Neptune, which premiered at the 2016 Slamdance Film Festival to rave reviews.

Producer

Jen is a multidisciplinary filmmaker based in Midcoast Maine. After a career in marketing for Fortune 500 companies, she pivoted to filmmaking, collaborating on commercial work for national brands and feature films like Disney’s Where the Red Fern Grows. To better align her personal and professional work, Jen settled in Maine where she joined the documentary team of The Peloton Project with Patrick Dempsey and helped to champion filmmakers from all over the world as the managing director of the Emerge Film Festival. She managed domestic and international digital distribution for Derek Kimball’s feature film Neptune, and continues to produce impassioned work for stage and screen as well as experiential media for museums in Maine and beyond.

Producer

Born and raised in Norridgewock, Maine, Allen Baldwin has been putting together films with independent flair and a DIY attitude for over twenty years. He attended Bowdoin College before moving to Portland, Maine, where he lives today. He is the co-founder of Damnationland, a long-running short horror film showcase of Maine filmmakers. He produced Derek Kimball’s feature film debut Neptune which screened at Slamdance, Nashville Film Festival, Atlanta Film Festival, and over a dozen other festivals around the world. Allen was a Fellow at the Sundance Creative Producing Summit and received his MFA in Scriptwriting from Stonecoast.

Line Producer

Aimee Lynn Barneburg is a Film Independent Producing Fellow, a Sundance Institute Creative Producing Summit Fellow, a Gotham (formally IFP) Narrative Lab Fellow and a Rotterdam Lab Fellow based in Portland, OR. She has served as the line producer and unit production manager for independent feature films and produced numerous other projects, ranging from short films and music videos to multi-million-dollar ad campaigns for global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Amazon, Facebook and Google. She is a story-driven producer able to work within a variety of budgets and locations having shot all over the U.S., South America, Europe and Asia. Recently, Aimee Lynn was the associate producer on Andrew Haigh’s film, Lean on Pete, distributed by A24. Her first feature film as lead producer, Clementine, had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2019 and was released theatrically via virtual cinemas release during the summer of 2020 by Oscilloscope Laboratories. Clementine is currently streaming and being released internationally.
